I BELEIVE "YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!"

Earlier this Fall, I was shopping with my sister-in-law after a business meeting and left a personal article of clothing behind.  My personal article of clothing was my most favourite black pashmina, which I purchased at Nordstrom's a few years ago at one of my annual Image Consulting conferences. 

It wasn't right away that I figured this out, it was hours later when I was changing into lounge clothes that I realized I was missing my pashmina.  That wasn't my only distress, I couldn't remember where I left it and it was way after 9pm and the stores were closed.  Do you not just love going back in your mind, ok... where was I and when did I last have it!!!  I do not lose things so my distress now is funny because as you can see I was having a "first world problem" moment! 

The great part of this story is how the store of which I found my pashmina handled it for me.  I was leaving the city the next day to drive back to Ottawa so I could not go back to the mall where they had the article because it was almost an hour from where I was staying.  So, the next morning when I remembered that I left it in the new Banana Republic store in Fairview Park Mall in Kitchener, my confirmations were correct and Dawn O'Brien said yes, we have it!  I was elated and about to give her my credit card information to ask if she could send it via mail, she replied with we would be happy to send it to you.  The way it was handled was professional and classy.  You get what you pay for!  Many Thanks BR!  If you feel like your shopping experiences have lacked the personal, perhaps I can help shift that.  You are welcome to check out my website for special packages for more information at: www.puttingittogether.ca.
