What are you wearing to your Holdiay party?  Is it Black?

Shopping for holdiay wear, I know can feel like a huge challenge for clients.  It can feel stressful, time consuming, costly and potentially unsatisfying.  Hopefully you noticed, the "can feel" part.  My philosophy and belief system as most of my clients know is not about the absolutes of what we see when we are in a store.  I do not tend to like the word NO, so creativity is key in having success be the outcome of a shopping venture, especially at this time of year.

Recently, a client and I were shopping for a Holiday party and we were having a difficult time finding anything that was not black, gold, silver, red or copper for her to choose to wear.  There were certain colour choices, based on her colouring that were out and Black is out as a choice.  We got creative and oh what fun we had.  Not only does she now have the most beautiful dress being made in one of her best colours and style proportions for her, but the shawl/wrap we are creating is going to be so delicious for her!  What makes it so is the fabric and colour variations - it is a one of a kind.
